The Lab School and the Meatpacking Improvement Association sponsored TASTES NYC on June 2nd. All of the tastes were amazing - check it out next year! The event was very similar to Taste Williamsburg/Greenpoint, but in the Meatpacking District.
Bistro de la Gare: Spicy chicken with handmade corn chips, lemon tartlets, and Arnold Palmer.
Pastis: Chicken liver and foie gras mousse.
Macao: Spicy pork belly with green mango and soy mustard vinaigrette.
The Meatball Shop. Mediterranean lamb meatballs with walnut pesto and corn and tomato salad.
Spasso. House made creamy mozzarella curd with olio nuvo and toasted bread. Amazing.
Baluchi's. Indian Pav Bhaji (sloppy joe) and mango Lassi.
RYU. Pork Tonkatsu sandwich.
Bill's Bar & Burger. Cheeseburger slider.
Smorgas Chef. Swedish Meatballs and Gravlaks.
Friedman's Lunch. Pulled pork sliders with papaya barbecue sauce and pickled red onion.
