Random New York Deliciousness, Part 3

Another short compilation of delicious outings ...

Totto Ramen is still my favorite ramen place so far, but Ippudo is still pretty good. This was the Shiromaru Hakata Classic with Nitamago (hard boiled egg). It was good, but the last time I went I had the Miso Ramen with Nitamago and Kakuni (braised pork belly), which was amazing.

This is the Eggs Rothko from Egg, a Brooklyn brunch favorite of mine:

If you're reading this in Brooklyn, you've probably heard of/been to Rockaway Taco already, but if you're visiting, stop here. I don't agree with the people who fuss about the place because it's attracted a lot of hipsters, these fish tacos are just that good. Plus, you can get a delicious Italian Ice from DiCosmo's next door while you wait on line.

The bulgogi pork sandwich from We Rub You is one of my top favorite eats at Smorgasburg

Here's the lobster roll from The Lobster Joint in Greenpoint. This place is constantly tempting me to direct deposit my paychecks right to them.

I go to Pommes Frites at least one day a year after a day of drinking at McSorley's with my best bud from home, Katie B.  I always get the same thing because I can't resist it, the poutine.

Another Smorgasburg favorite is Mighty Quinn's beef brisket sandwich.  That incredibly long line every Saturday happens for a reason.

I can't believe it took me so long to discover Jo's, right near my office in Soho.  These are the disco fries with Gruyere cheese and bacon gravy. So. Good.

These spicy pork sliders are $1 a piece during happy hour, you get 3 per order.

Dim Sum at East Harbor Seafood Palace. "You dim sum, you lose sum" - Charles. Nothing was lost here though, it was all great, except for the chicken feet, which I refused to eat.  I went here with several friends and after an all morning stuff your face fest, we each paid $12.  Worth the wait.

No. 7 Sub recently(ish) moved in around the corner from me in Greenpoint.  This cauliflower sandwich is my favorite, and not just because it has potato chips on it. They seem to have taken it off the menu for now, I hope it comes back soon!
